Since everyone is throwing up their recent meetings/sightings of politicians, I decided to add one too. I had a chance to talk with
John Jenkins a little over a week ago during an Eagle Court of Honor for one of my young men. Jenkins has four boys who all earned the rank of Eagle, so he does his best to attend the Court of Honor for all the Eagle Scouts in his district. We didn't talk too much along the lines of politics this time (and when we do, it's usually local construction/spending stuff anyway), especially since he had another ceremony to run off to after ours, but it was nice to see him again. He is a fairly conservative Democrat, though he has his moments. *laughs*
