Special Council charges Donald Trump over misuse of classified documents
Donald Trump received more bad legal news as the Justice department announced they are issuing charges related to Trump's alleged use and storage of classified documents. These new charges while not likely to carry any prison time if convicted could further complicate Trump's path to the White House. A new poll shows that 4-10 Americans and 2-10 Republican Primary voters are less likely to support Trump's bid for the Presidency based on Federal indictment. Further a majority (54%) of Republican Primary voters would prefer someone not named Trump to be the parties nominee with another 8% undecided.

It is unknown the extent of how hard Trump will be attacked for his legal trouble in the primary though it is notable that Trump's former running mate Mike Pence has been hitting him hard on the ethics question in an attempt to portray himself as a "conventional conservative". Ron DeSantis so far has been mum on the topic only stating he will trust the legal process.
