Riley is back in - and if the Hochulmander goes thru, he'll likely have an even better district I would assume?

Dems could get someone stronger there from the state legislature.

That's horrible. I wish him the best of luck in his recovery. Falls are no joke.

And speak of the devil, sounds like State Senator Michelle Hinchey (D) is considering. She’d be by far the strongest challenger, having held down a narrow Trump-Biden seat for two cycles.

The problem for RS the difference between 20 and 24 is that they're destined to lose seats in the H not gain seats in the H like they did in 20 pre J6 and 22 they Gaines 5 seats in the H due to Midterm, that's why they are gonna lose by bigger margins in the Rust belt and perhaps wave insurance states

They also gained seats in the H in 20 because Trump gave us Stimulus checks they are now against Entitlements again

Trump said before Eday 20 give one more check where are RS now cut the Debt on back of poor they got rid of food stamps stimulus

If Manchin loses it won't be for the lack of money.

$831,000 is a very good quarter but I wouldn't call it monster.

OR-CD-05 Republican Lori Chavez-DeRemer posts massive campaign donation haul in what will likely be a tossup or even possibly tilt DEM seat in '24.

NOTE: This is my district so naturally want to be represented in the US House by someone closer to my political leanings.

Also, may I also briefly add "Screw Nike" in particular Phil Knight for trying to put their thumbs on the scale of Oregon politics.

Quote
Chavez-DeRemer, a Republican who was elected in November to represent the redrawn 5th District stretching from Southeast Portland to Bend, raised $635,559 in the first three months of the year, according to federal filings. That’s more than double the $300,816 raised by Rep. Andrea Salinas, the first-term Democrat representing the 6th District, who posted the next-highest sum among Oregon’s congressional delegation.

Quote
The fundraising blitz comes on the heels of Chavez-DeRemer’s victory in a heated and expensive race for the battleground 5th District in November. Buoyed by an influx of national GOP spending, Chavez-DeRemer flipped the seat from Democratic to Republican control after the district’s long-term Democratic Congressman Kurt Schrader was upset in the primary by Jamie McLeod-Skinner.

Chavez-DeRemer’s fundraising this year is fueled by political action committees set up by Republican representatives, industry trade associations and companies such as Nike and Weyerhaeuser, the Seattle-based timber giant. Chavez-DeRemer also raised $106,625 from individual donors through the Republican fundraising platform WinRed.

Except we don't know if the Democrats increasing geographical strength will or won't continue. This isn't 2012 anymore, SL

Just a random thought, but is there any reason to believe Bernie Sanders won't run for re-election?
