Latest chatter I've heard is that Vicente Gonzalez is being recruited though there's no indication that he's interested.

Dems should convince Rep. Collin Alred to launch a senate bid in 2024.

Even then Democrats still wouldn't have a chance at winning.

I hope it’s what I think it is, but I also wouldn’t be surprised if he’s just rebranding for re-election to the House

One could only pray to God or Vishnu or The Flying Spaghetti Monster that this seat flips. Allred is the Democrats best possible nominee, but this is still a "Lean R" at best for them

Do you know whom Biden is he was on the ballot in 2008/12 that got us 59 seats the reason why we failed to get a landslide was in 20 Trump gave out stimulus checks and no Rs want to get rid of all entitlement

FL isn't safe either for Rs them Emerson has Biden tied in FL a month ago 44
FL is a likely R state, and will probably vote to the right of TX.

Ignore him, he's been saying garbage like that for years.

This makes absolutely no sense. Trump only won TX by 5, Cruz only won by 2.5. TX has continued to move slightly left since then, and Trump is arguably less popular than he was in 2020 at this point

"prez year" does not mean for TX what it meant in 2012. The fact that it would likely be within <5% means it *is* competitive

this is complete pundit galaxy brain

Cook always had weird ratings. Even I think TX-Sen is only Lean R as we speak, especially with Allred now in the race.

One could Unironically say it’s "Titanium" Lean R

New poll: Cruz is somehow only 5 points ahead of Allred instead of the +10 I imagined him being at this point

This is the kind of Warnock-style moderate wordsmithing that manages to still get liberals excited out of their minds.

And we all know how that ended
