I take it this is gonna be one of those threads where every other post has to include something to the effect of "This seat won't flip, but..."?

Sounds more Tennessee or Missouri to me

Those two were moving rightward.  Texas isn't.

If I understand correctly, the moment Texas turns democrat it's game over for the republicans right ?

This is undoubtedly true at the Presidential level.  Republicans have no reasonable paths to a victory without Texas.
