Stabenow has said she is running again, but I get Bill Nelson 2018 vibes from her given her underperformance that same year so I'd rather she'd retire and let someone like Slotkin run instead.

Slotkin and Stevens start out as the clear the frontrunners here on the Dem side. LG Gilchrist is also a possibility as I think Nessel goes for governor in 2026 and this would be a prime opportunity for him to advance. Buttigieg is a wild card and I'm 99% certain that Whitmer remains governor in order to position herself for the 2028 Presidential race.

James and Meijer are the obvious names on the GOP side. I'm guessing James goes for it a third time and while Meijer would be the stronger GE candidate, there's the question of whether he could get through a primary for obvious reasons.

I'll be surprised if Slotkin doesn't prevail at the end of the day.  Rogers is old news, Craig is over hyped, and Meijer wont be able to win the primary.
