I think this is a serious question we'll all be asking ourselves next week, particularly if Cortez Masto loses.

Considering she's only a freshman senator, she's probably the most likely to lose out of all the swing state dems up for re-election.

I largely agree with this. Which is explains why it's not necessarily likely by any stretch.

She seems to be one of the more vulnerable Dems at the moment, but I agree that we should wait and see what happens this year first.

It's the same likelihood as Scott losing to Val DEMINGS in 24

It’s very possible, it’ll probably come down to the presidential outcome.

Lean yes — she is probably the 3rd or 4th most vulnerable Democrat that year, but ask me again in a week.

So, 2022 is over and 2024 has begun. What do we think?

Nah, Republicans probably nominate Danny Tarkanian or someone equally dumb…maybe an 82-year old Steve Wynn after a Trump endorsement.

Joe Lombardo could make a run for it after realizing he's not getting anything accomplished as governor with a D legislature

I love predicting races two years in advance.

Like Fr guys chill for all we know it’ll come out that Sherrod Brown blends newborns into smoothies and DeSantis likes to throw live kittens into the canal while unemployment skyrockets to 30% under president Henry Cuellar

I rather doubt trying to run for senate just 2 years into your first term would be a good look at all. He’d be better to wait for 2028 assuming he wins re-election.

I think they ran out of credible candidates for it this year. Not a single House seat gained, Lombardo only bound to be two years into his term by 2024, and the state party largely suffering from Cowboy State GOP Insanity Syndrome.
