Definitely won’t be a close race, but who’s this Diane candidate, and who’s she taking votes from? Apparently she’s on a Ukrainian hitlist, but I can’t tell if she’s a leftist or far right candidate.

That said though, due to increased partisanship and Zeldin on the ballot, this could be Chuck’s worst election performance since his first senate election in 1998.

For me, this is the proof the gubernatorial election won't be close. I could see New York theoretically electing a moderate republican governor. Hower, I'm really skeptical about Schumer doing so poorly. If they overestimate Pinion, they're more likely than not overestimating Zeldin. Schumer is an institution in New York.

It would certainly be something if Pinion is cracking 40% here when he literally has 5 cents in his bank account too, and doesn't appear to be advertising at all.

I’m pretty damn certain there are plenty of Zeldin/Schumer voters out there.

I totally agree. It was not my point. I'm just saying they probably overestimate Pinion and thus far also Zeldin.

If the poll was Schumer+18, I'd be more inclined to buy a possible Zeldin win.
