Doug Lafollete is the longtime Dem incumbent. Could Amy Loudenbeck beat him?

Probably Doug.

Worth noting though that this office really doesn't do much. The Wisconsin SoS doesn't handle election administration in Wisconsin, that's done by the bipartisan Wisconsin Elections Commission. It's a mostly ceremonial position that just appoints people to head the DMV or various business licensing offices, probably one of the weakest elected statewide offices in any state.

LaFollette, although Loudenbeck does have a chance of upsetting him, particularly if both Johnson and Michels win next week. LaFollette has been in office for almost forty years, and his luck may be running out.

The name LaFollette is still a big deal in Wisconsin.
