I have no idea if this or Forum Community is the right place for this, but anyone else like me in the house here? I so rarely run into leftist Christians even in my real life, so I'm very curious.
Hi. Smiley Seems to be a D-MN thing here haha.

The other most notable one here is Scott.

What type/denomination are you btw? I'm non-denominational as is my church, Scott is Episcopalian.

NGL, I think my version of Christianity is actually the closest to BRTD's of anyone on the Forum (although our aesthetics and politics are very different, ofc)
Is your version of Christianity heavily influenced by emotional hardcore music of the mid-to-late 90s?

Literally LOL'd at this.

Never change, BRTD. Never change.
This song legitimately counts as a hymn and I won't hear it otherwise.

Oh yeah, there's two common memes here from Christian songs.

One is "I don't worship a concept, I follow a King"

from this:

The other is from this song, "My King is alive!"

I forgot to say - fine choice. I don't listen to this kind of stuff super often, but this is the kind I like. Cheesy
Not only did I finally get to see them at Furnace Fest, before their set the main organizer spoke on stage that "Waking Giants" is one of his top 3 favorite releases on Solid State and there's a special press of it for the first time on vinyl only available to Furnace Fest attendees! And to talk to any of the guys in the robot shirt (the logo of the pressing business they worked for) to get a code to pre-order it after the set. Then one guy carrying the codes jumped off staged and crowd surfed off as it began.

I was the first person to get a code after the set and my order was in in minutes! He said it should come December/January.
