Walker was leading, but DeKalb County came in the room and said "Ho, I don't think so".

"Sorry boys, I was late.  A giant corn snake stole my hat."

It's really strange how well Dems are doing in NE. Bolduc, Fung, and Leavitt all had realistic chances of winning, and now it looks like none of them are going to even come close to making it.

Recall, the Democrats' performances in NE special elections since Biden became President, even when his approval was in the 30s, were still unusually strong.

Vega about to be called with 99% in. First big flip.

Pay attention.  It's been reported that the 99% is incorrect.

And the outstanding vote heavily favors Spanberger, and in my view by enough for her to win but we shall see.

I believe that number is for all of PWC so. It is going to be tight.

Aborting that lead like one of his girlfriends’ pregnancies.

Mastriano seems to be running 3-4% behind Oz.

Western NC swings (a few completed counties so far) towards Dems since the early 2000s (albeit at a glacial pace) seems to be influenced by the same outdoorsy hipster migration like Colorado.

Is DeKalb more than 8% in? That might be one source for a lot of votes for him.

DeKalb is at 65% in per MSNBC. Looks like Macon is also reporting now.

Maricopa County will not extend poll closing time.

Oh god, I can already hear the complaints about Arizona doing this but Pennsylvania extending the deadline... even though Luzerne County is hardly going D anymore.

I don't know who it's going to ultimately win, but 1 thing is already clear about this election

Biden just does not seem to be the kind of drag on his party that Trump or Obama was

Sure, some voter may not care for the man or his policies, but that is clearly not stopping them from still voting for the Dem in this election. With Obama and trumps the hate for them was so strong at the time that there was no way that thier part could avoid taking massive losses

He's a drag for a different reason. Biden is disliked by the opposing side more than Obama ever was.

Um, were you around when Obama was president?

The margins are decent in Georgia but…the Atlanta area turnout is the poison pill

From 538 blog:

Quote
Really striking number in the preliminary exit poll results in Michigan (which are incomplete and can, of course, change) — almost half of voters in the state said that abortion was the most important issue driving their vote, way above the national number for this question. That’s especially worth underscoring because Michigan voters are deciding whether to enshrine abortion rights in their state constitution today.

Budd has taken the lead; the only question now is the margin.

Interested to see the final margin here - the 3 biggest counties (they also have big Beasley leads) only have 54% in.

If that Walker margin in Gwinett holds anywhere close to that, that's absolutely insane by Warnock and shows how fast the County has shifted left.

I fee like it is worth noting in GA that even though Warnock slightly leads, most of the metro Atlanta Counties have reported slightly above the statewide average so far if the NYT outstanding estimates are to be believed.

Cuyahoga, Franklin, and Hamilton all below statewide reporting % and Ryan has a lead of 2. Hmmm
