Army hiring Butler assistant Kevin Kuwik as their new Head Coach.

Great job by Army to hire an actual Army veteran. Kuwik also has an excellent pedigree for an assistant coach, having worked under Thad Matta, Bob McKillop, Brad Stevens, and Archie Miller.

Unfortunately, Army is one of the toughest places to win at in the country.

South Florida hiring Kennesaw State Head Coach Amir Abdur-Rahim.

This is a fantastic hire for South Florida. Abdur-Rahim took Kennesaw State from 1-28 in the 2019-20 season, to 26-9 this past season.

He should be able to make South Florida contenders in the AAC.

I wish it was Kansas State v Miami but Kansas State lost that's why I said College is weak and going to online school, Justin Fields said online school is easier not for Grad School, I am in Law school it's tough but for undergrad and since and the workout routine is less stressful than before that's why there aren't anymore Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Curry or Lebron's the last lineage to Jordan era

Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum aren't Jordans and neither is Westbrook but they are better than the average Ball player

The Bears kept Justin Fields and he turned the ball over they aren't going to the Superbowl and beat Pat Mahomes CJ Stroud I didn't see turn the ball over and Jordan Love have a better chance but they will beat him in a few yrs not immediately, but Justin Fields has zero chance, that's like saying San Diego state can go to the NBA finals, no Kansas State could of

What happened to Zion Williams of Duke he is good but the Pelicans but the Warriors just beat them

Naturally, one game after South Carolina gets to play football, they actually have fouls called against them for the first time this season. The reason this happened is because the powers that care be more about Caitlin Clark than about South Carolina, and the reason for that is that Caitlin Clark, like every media darling in women's college basketball, is white. On Monday South Carolina wasn't facing the great white hope and so they won easily. If Iowa started five black players instead of five white players, South Carolina would have won by twenty.

San Diego State could use Hunter Dickinson. San Diego State's two best centers are both seniors.

Florida Atlantic's run comes to an end, as San Diego State stuns them on a buzzer beater by Lamont Butler to win 72-71.

Since my previous picks in this tournament have done so well, I'll try it again for the Final Four:

San Diego State over Florida Atlantic.  FAU is undoubtedly a very good team, but they've also been very fortunate so far: a last-second win in the 1st round after a horrendous no-call, a #16 seed in the 2nd round, Tennessee without Zakai Zeigler in the Sweet 16, and finally a Kansas State team that was pushed to the limit two nights earlier.  I think their luck finally runs out.

UConn over Miami.  UConn is the most talented team left, and they're hitting on all cylinders.

Final: UConn over San Diego State.  See previous comment.

Called it.

I doubt it's been called once all tournament (par for the course for modern basketball) but, Butler clearly carried the ball before the game-winner.

The Women's National Championship game was a matchup between two teams who made their first title game appearance, and the LSU Tigers won 102-85 over Caitlin Clark's Iowa Hawkeyes for their first ever title.

LSU's 102 was the most points ever scored in the women's championship game.

It doesn't really feel like it because they've also had extended periods of not being relevant, but UConn has already won the most championships of any school in my lifetime.  And they're probably minutes away from extending their lead.

San Diego state had no chance that's what happens when you get a Mid Major into the Final Four when the top seeds go out, the same thing happened with Butler v Duke, and the top seeds only lost because they were bad on that one day if it was more playoff games with a top seed they would be the fav the Tournament may have outlived it's usefulness, we need a playoff series not just 1 game format

Football you only can have 1 game but the Tournament bumps up against the Finals they would maybe start it earlier, they are going online anyways not classroom especially student athletes

The team that's won the most in my lifetime is going to be hard to top.

I am not proposing a 5 or 7 game series but it should be a 3 game series when you play a top seed in the Tournament so we can get the best team in the Final Four KU, Zags, Houston or Kansas State those would have been better matchups for Huskies could of beaten UConn but congratulations to Huskies

The 64 Tournament is set up for the old system where Classroom Student athletes it's not that way ANYMORE, ever slow learners instead of going to get a GED instead of flunking and dropping out they have online HS my cuz is getting ready so Grad School, College and HS is going online  only grammar school and pre school classes

Bob Huggins is in hot water for using an Anti-Gay slur to refer to Xavier fans.

I wouldn't be completely shocked if Huggins was fired as a result of this. West Virginia has underperformed in the recent past, not reaching twenty wins in a season since the 2019-20 season, and not getting to at least the Sweet Sixteen since 2017-18.

If Huggins is fired, here are my best bets as to who might replace him.

Creighton Head Coach Greg McDermott
Boise State Head Coach Leon Rice
Saint Louis Head Coach Travis Ford
Tulane Head Coach Ron Hunter
Former St. John's Head Coach Mike Anderson
