Burger King can be gross, many of the individual establishments are not well taken care of, their employees seem to be ruder than the average fast food restaurant in their tier.

And their Double Quarterpound King is funking delicious.  I like the way they prepare their burgers more than the way their competition does.  I never eat McDs anymore, they always give me a stomach ache.  BK only hurts on the way out.

On the other hand, I preferred the fries at McDonalds for a long time... although the BK I'm usually frequenting seems to have made a switch to a better product recently.

McDonalds is a far more reliable place to get a quick bite. (except obviously the infamous ice cream, which I have no interest in, and in some places in the South, coffee)

I'll throw in a charitable Freedom Restaurant because they have one thing that slaps:

French toast sticks.

I don't do it often but its the only Burger King I've had in many, many years.

Though I have heard they are going to try to up their game. I'll give it a go when that happens.

Whoppers are decent sometimes, but it's not as good as Wendy's. Overall not very good.

They've been bought out by a Brazilian investment firm and they've bought out Tim Horton's, and I keep hearing from Canadians that Tim Horton's has gone downhill. No offense but I don't like the idea of eating beef imported from Brazil due to deforestation in the Amazon.

Also the local BK's around here have help wanted signs that contain the phrase "Do you have a servant's heart?" which I'm sure is code for something nefarious or discriminatory and is just off-putting.

You don't go to BK for fries, you should get onion rings there (and they're actually very good, i Always get them whenever I go).

And BK burgers are a lot better than McDonald's burgers. Bigger and tastier.

The only BK I've been to (In my memory) is the one in the Orlando Airport, I always get a whopper and fry. Not a huge fan. 100% prefer McDicks

For quick-bite, mainstream fast-food lunch, the perfect combo is BK whopper + McDonalds fries.

I'm sorry, but Burger King fries are the worst fries I've ever had. There is ZERO potato in those things.   They taste like coagulated vegetable oil with a hint of cardboard.
