one of the guys I work with went there, has the street smarts and common sense of a 4 year old.  Generally a very good academic school, but some of those that attend there tend to be quite sheltered.

Seems to be your normal Catholic prep school. I really couldn't find anything that seemed odd or out of the ordinary with the exception of having a different uniform for each grade, which is a little weird. I would never want to go to a school like that but it doesn't seem to be a horrible institution.

I voted for Option 2:

Which of course makes it no different from 99% of other schools in the world, regardless of ethos.

The latter. This school is just a little TOO catholic for comfort.

I want to like it, but I cannot bring myself to like a nonpublic school.

Considering they demolished my team in Football all of the time- extremely negative:P

I know several people who went there and they liked it a great deal.

From anecdotal accounts, my school was much more conservative/religious than St Anthony's.

I thought this was going to be some sort of "correctional" school, but it sounds like a relatively benign and standard Catholic school. I wouldn't have wanted to go there, but it probably isn't too bad.
