These people did not deserve to die. And Franz Marc did not deserve to die in the trenches after he was accidently conscripted in 1916.

The only mentioned position of one of the dead is a boot camp manager who unjustly put forth harassing rhetoric in the workplace, and on par with what usually slides in the Russian army probably applied that to training and soldier-soldier relations. These men who fired the gun could have been conscripts, and outside the injustice of forced labor for an unjust war, they are being degraded as second class workers in the workplace. They have every right to resist oppression.
