2) The US was certainly not the only country that f—ked up on COVID

The US isn't even exceptionally bad on Covid, except arguably to ourselves. It was already spreading like wildfire by the time it got to us, and it hasn't stopped spreading outside of the US.

2. Yes but everyone loses a nuclear war . Even the “winner” would end up losing way way worse than any defeat in an economic or conventional military war would cause . Nukes are there to stop other nations from launching them at you , and not for really any other cases .

What I’d do say if the EU tried to sanction  the US I’d respond by :

- Responding with Russia style sanctions on those nations and having all our companies leave . At this point they could either back down or face even more wrath

- Start using the CIA to undermine political parties who are pro American sanctions and break up the EU as a whole

- remind them about all the bases we have in Europe and what we can do


This is never gonna happen but the EU has zero ability to even do this against us as well

Covid became a pandemic everywhere around the globe. It also did not originate in our country. And I'm sure no one (no nation) wanted to "allow" Covid to kill millions of their own people.

1. China caused COVID more than any other country, one way or another.

2. Climate denial absolutely does exist in other countries. Some of whom, again including China, are taking less action than we are to combat it.

3. The invasion of Iraq happened nearly 20 years ago and was a morally gray situation that involved multiple other countries. Iraq was certainly not a saintly country under Saddam, to put it mildly, and today it is arguably better off because of the invasion. On top of that, no US leader since Bush has supported the invasion.

If it was a bioweapon, it's a really crappy one. Leaves roughly 98% of all victims alive, most with no ill effects, and spreads so fast it winds up around the world including the countries that may have originated it.

At most it was the product of gain-of-function research that got out accidentally.

my theories on this:
1.it was a bio weapon test to see how quickly it spread
2.it was a bio weapon but it didn't have the lethality they were hoping for
3.it was a bio weapon aimed at the sickly and the elderly because China (or whoever started it) has a "too many old people" problem (old or sickly people are expensive)


To be clear, I do NOT believe it was a bio weapon, like you, I believe it was a research project and Chinese labs have sh**t safety protocols and the PRC is covering that up because it's embarrassing and if true, they might face negative consequences if proven.
