Having recently adopted Elizabeth Holmes and Anna Delvey as my personal heroes, I've been thinking a lot about how I could become an infamous girlboss. I've been leaning heavily towards fraud, as I think it would serve as a powerful symbol to young Americans that no matter your zip code, you can become a criminal. It's just not fair that people like Martin Shkreli get to have all the fun. Representation matters and in America, if you work hard, anything should be possible.

I also just think it would be really funny to commit a white collar crime.

We need to build a pro-fraud society. When I was a fresh-faced whippersnapper attending college on the East Coast, I made an effort to meet everyone in my dorm. In this endeavor, our hero, young Blairite, met a lovely girl studying law to defend white collar criminals because "they don't actually hurt anyone." Flash forward and our hero is renting a one bedroom and flying economy plus while she has a house with a pool on Bridle Path in the Six. According to the basic tenets of Calvinism, this means God wants rich people to commit fraud and get away with it. Clearly, we should be more like her.
