The most ideologically conservative people tend to live in suburbs, even if rural areas now have a higher proportion of conservatives than the suburbs do.  Imagine an upper-middle class evangelical who has very high levels of community and church involvement.  This person would live in a suburb or exurb in the South.

I might actually argue that somewhere like Cherokee County, Georgia is the most ideologically conservative place in the country.

I agree that the single most unbearably over-the-top jacked-in right-wing ideologue in the country, insofar as "single most" is knowable, is likelier to be some kind of Low Church Protestant than anything else, though.
