I just learnt that Washington and Colorado now have it, and Nevada is supposed to launch its own within the next 4 years.

I say Massive Freedom Option. I've supported the Public Option for a long time, and it's this type of stuff that makes it worthwhile to vote Democratic.

No reason why the richest country in the world shouldn’t be able to provide healthcare to all of its citizens.

I don't see how having a public health care provider to lower costs by increasing competition and potentially insuring those in the Medicaid gap (subsidizing it to 100% for those under it for example) is a bad thing.

The same people that think this is distorting the free market also believe in crony capitalism and bailouts.

Of course I support it (not a Randian/Social Darwinist).

Won't Lombardo getting elected interfere with it coming to fruition in NV?

It's funny to look at posts of mine from several years ago where I opposed it, but these days I strongly support it. Would be a strong improvement to ObamaCare, without entering into the single payer territory.

I support it strongly. The U.S. needs a federal public option.

Universal single payer would be better. But FO as a transitional measure until we get to universal single payer.
