As President Pro Tempore, it is my duty to allot time to bills, acts and amendments. At the moment we have a large number of each before the Senate, most of which there has been very little or no activity on for a while now.

As there is a great pile-up I believe I must take actions to stop this.

This means that all Bills, Acts and Amendments that have not had not had any activity upon in the past two weeks, that is since June 18th, will be removed from the Senate floor and thus will have been defeated.

If there any bills that haven't had activity then that somebody so desires to save, they must post the name of the Act, Bill or Amendment concerned and it shall be kept before the Senate. They must also bump it up.

Currently this means that the following Bills, Acts and Amendments remain before the Senate:

Second Boss Abortion Act - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=4411
Beet Voting Reform Act - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=4839
Constitutional Amendment on Districts - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=5049
Proportional Representation Amendment - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=5260
Home State Bill - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=5262

Bills that have Passed that the President needs to sign:

PPT Election Bill - http://www.uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?board=13;action=display;threadid=5480;start=0

We currently have 2 Acts, 1 Bill and 2 Amendments before the Senate this means unless anyone comes forward with another bill that should be saved.

I will allot debating time to bills that have not sufficiently been debated and declare the voting open on those that seem to have been debated thoroughly.

This weekend has been allotted for voting on the Second Boss Abortion Act.

Currently the amendments are being voted on and once that is done we shall move onto the Act itself.

Following the passage or failure of passage of this bill, we shall move onto the Beet Voting Reform Act which will be up for debate for the next week before voting commences next weekend.

Note, the voting on each bill will not merely finish at the end of a weekend, I will allow a further week for voting on it, however, it will no longer be debated and left for the stragglers while the next bill is debated and voted upon.

Thank you John F. Kennedy. I believe that the Voting Reform Act that I originally proposed needs to be transformed into an amendment. I hereby withdraw the Act and instead propose an Amendment with the same text.

Thanks JFK, this does need to be done. I would sign the Boss act and the Beet act if they do pass, and hopefully Gustaf will concur if he takes office before they pass, if they do.
