Sadly, this GREAT ACT was not brought to the floor by our last PPT. Bugs are a nutritious food which provide more protein in a more efficient and climate friendly way than cattle.

So I take it the objective here is to spur a new sector in agriculture?

Are there any other benefits/drawbacks such as potential health or environmental concerns that may occur as a result of such harvesting?
Generally this is vaguely modeled after IRL farm subsides to spur a new sector of agriculture. A health concern would be possibly ingesting some insecticides.

What about potential for destruction of natural plant and bug ecosystems if a particular bug is brought into an area that it doesn't normally exist in, to be raised on a mass scale?
Few crickets in the Atlasia don’t also live in other areas of Atlasia. Crickets are one of the less destructive bugs if an overseas bug gets into Atlasia.
