How do I post photos in my signature?

Upload to an image sharing website like imgur, and then link to it in your signature using the IMG bbcode:

Make sure the image link is to the actual image and not, say, an album page or some such.

In addition, consider to scale very large pictures. Otherwise, it blows up every page you post and your profile.

I never used more than 500px. It works that way (my current image is 450 wide):

What I do is post, and then see the scale, if it shows me the scale, and then cut it  by a third or a half. I do that "religiously" to avoid the presentation of the thread to others being F'ed up, which is the height of lack of consideration. Be good to your troop.
