Due to player switches, we will be disregarding the last vote and will proceed with a new one. There is also a motion before the IOC on whether the 1940 Rome Olympics should be suspended. Italy will be allowed to either contest the motion (and present a defense) or accept it. Once that is done with, we will vote on suspension and 1944 location.

Given the current global situation, the British Empire will not sanction any British subject competing in the Olympic Games, nor any British territory hosting the Games.

The Italian government encourages the Olympics to go ahead. Italy is a neutral state and will remain insulated from the continental conflict, recent suppressions of criminal activity and public disorder should not enter into the calculation of the IOC. Should the committee decide otherwise, we would accept their decision.
