It's a completely plausible concern this will happen in some instances, though probably wouldn't be greater than abortion reducing effects of being entitled to receive child support allowing the mother to feel she can keep the baby.

The only way I can get this to make sense is if he thinks said dead beat fathers will “perform” the “abortion” themselves… which is a horrible conclusion so I hope he’s just a nut spewing words

There's such a thing as emotional abuse of a partner in order to pressure them to do something.
