Some of the things being removed in this amendment, like the notification requirement seem like an unnecessary leniency towards big tech.  Reducing the fines makes no sense if one expects a tangible change in behavior.     

I can see modifying III.3 but eliminating it is ridiculous. If anything we should move towards mandating equal time or equivalent thereof to ensure the neutrality on the part of the social media platforms.
