Biden although I'll have to go into the suburbs because Minneapolis canceled fireworks this year because of construction where they're usually shot from. Will probably go to Bloomington.

Minneapolis' biggest fireworks show each year isn't even the Fourth but the Aquatennial which is a city holiday that coincidentally happens later in July (July 23) and that's still on.

I think some friends and I are going to one of our friend's parents' house which is way out in the country of rural Tennessee, so undoubtedly a Trump precinct and likely massively so.

I just looked it up, and it was 80-19 Trump.  If I were going to Franklin's fireworks, it would actually be in the one Biden precinct in the area (Harlinsdale Farm falls into it), based on 2010s precincts.  We did precinct redistricting last year, so it's going to be hard to directly compare 2022 and 2024 results to 2020 and before.

But, that one precinct was a Trump (R+0.1)-Bredesen (D+14)-Lee (R+2)-Biden (D+5)-Hagerty (R+2) precinct- quite the vote split.  Not sure how BRTD would feel about that place...maybe he'd like it since it's the only Biden precinct in the county, but the other votes (other than 2018-SEN) wouldn't sit well with him.

I hate fireworks as much as my dog does. So I don't intend on watching them. Hell, I hate the fourth of July, especially this year when I feel less patriotic than ever.

 But if I were to watch them, the closest place would be a Trump precinct.

Didn't watch.  I only live 5 miles from downtown Pittsburgh so we had to close the house up tight and turn on the TV loudly during the fireworks because they scare the sh**t out of my dobie.  Poor thing just hides all night.

Watched fireworks from my deck. Trump finished 3rd in my precinct and only missed being 4th by 8 votes.
