good

It's unfortunate it took the courts this long as we've all known about all of this for years.

Young children looked up to this guy and wanted to grow up and emulate his success.

Fandoms seriously have to be reigned in.
Listening to his music is a terrible idea.

It’s more than his music, although the sex-addict vibes and anti-female standpoints were not hidden. Treating celebrities, and those wealthier, a league up from most working people and letting them basically be beyond the law and even be treated differently with the current laws is what got us here. For every groupie getting groped coercively, there’s the rich family with the only store in town getting favors from the police chief/sheriff’s family out of proximity of socialization. Look at more unequal societies like Japan for such insanity to reach its endpoint, where celebrities are worshipped like gods and an insane clique of rich aristocrats game the system they run anyway. Why are people with more wealth and with more power treated any different from working people?

We also need to tell the next generation of people to get better standards from people that they are romantically involved with or lust for. So much of this wouldn’t have happened if young girls are raised with the expectation that you don’t want to associate with clear abusive f•••heads, and that you cannot fix crazy. The Amber Heard trial and the abuse she doled on emotionally compromised men also shows that we need to generally improve peoples standards, and that’s only possible by ensuing that abuse at any stage stops and provide ways to stop abuse in any form.

Japan's Gini Coefficient is almost a full 10% less than America, and is largely in line with France and Germany. It is almost half that of South Africa.
I don't necessarily disagree about your broader point. Better standards is what is really going to make things better in the long run, if adopted.

Robert Kelly sentenced to 30 years imprisonment.
Ghislaine Maxwell sentenced to 20 years in federal prison.
Salah Abdeslam sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Iustitia was very based last week - and I give her great credit for her rigorous actions. ⚖️
Had those three above-mentioned criminals been convicted in Germany or Sweden, they had been sentenced to twenty hours of community service.

It really does boggle the mind why big stars find it necessary to do these sort of things.  Besides the fact that they are dangerous sickos, of course.

Actually, this seems pretty straightforward.  R. Kelly is a sociopathic pedophile.  R. Kelly is a sex predator and he’d be the same pedophilic scumbag he is now whether he were a big star or a random some dude.

R Kelley’s massive powertripping and having his own personal harem would not have been thinkable had he not have been famous. He wouldn’t have been able to have the huge amount of victims had he not have been rich and famous, traveling nationwide for abuse. He raped vulnerable black women, which no one in society at large really cared for.

The end of him would not have been possible had it not have been for the work of years of agitation by the victims, activists, and concerned bystanders going up against the odds. R Kelley had deep links to the Chicago PD from his fame.

Your idol literally said it himself in 2005, because they can, or could once upon a time, before MeToo changed the landscape.

He’d almost certainly be a degenerate pedophile rapist either way though.
