GOP Primary Results

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) - 32 states, 48%
Fmr. VP Mike Pence (R-IN) - 13 states, 24%
Fmr. Amb. Nikki Haley (R-SC) - 5 states + D.C., 17%
Others - 11%

At some point in 2023, former President Donald Trump decides not to seek a second term. He doesn't make an endorsement yet and waits for the field to shape up. During the 2024 Republican primaries, Trump stumps for many candidates and endorses Ron DeSantis after the Florida primary in March 2024. This is enough for DeSantis to clear the field.

Vice President Kamala Harris (D-CA) - 33 states, 52%
Secretary Pete Buttigieg (D-IN) - 13 states, 31%
Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) - 4 states, 11%
Others - 0 states, 6%

Meanwhile on the Democratic side, by 2024, President Joe Biden's health wasn't in great shape and was mired by low approval ratings, and much to his dismay, he heeds the advice of his advisors to not seek a second term. Vice President Harris immediately has speculation surrounding her chances. Harris pretty much clears the field other than a slight challenge from Pete Buttigieg and Elizabeth Warren.

Who wins?

Don’t see how Pence does that well in the primary.  Ron flips AZ PA WI and one of either NV or MI, possibly both.
