This is exactly why Biden's approval #s right now should not be used for any proxy of Democratic support.

Except that Massachusetts is a state notorious for DINOs, "Kennedy Democrats," modern yellow dogs, whatever you want to call them. That type of disapproving-Biden-voter probably doesn't live far beyond the Connecticut River.
There is also a solid chunk of far-left voters, which can be found in other states, but MA is the sort of place you'd expect this gap to be disproportionately high.
This is also a match-up with Trump, who is uniquely unpopular with Massachusetts independents. Don't think it'll trickle down ballot.
