3000 US soldiers killed in Iraq

I suppose asking warmongering Bush to end his stupid war before the 3000th death was too much. However, one would have hoped we'd at least have had to wait until next year for the 3000th death.  It is currently 10:38 PM in Iraq. This was the 3rd deadliest month for US troops there.

820 US 94.4%
29 UK 3.3%
20 Other 2.3%

The American fraction of the deaths there is quickly heading towards 100%.

Meanwhile, Afganistan had a record number of deaths, and the American fraction is decreasing. It just turned 2007 in Afganistan

93 Other 48%

May this new year bring less stupid warmongering in Iraq, and more progress in Afganistan. It is now 12:08 AM in Afganistan
