If Balad gets in will the pro-Bibi bloc still have a majority?

Ok so Denmark has also voted today and is 40% counted after 2 hours.

I doubt we will see hardly any results from Israel within 2 hours, why does it count so slowly?

Paper ballots

Denmark has paper ballots too...

So does Britain.

Really hoping Balad squeaks it out, but it's also really depressing that basically every election worldwide these days is a frantic scramble to reach a bare majority of not-fascists and forestall what seems to be the inevitable by ever decreasing amounts of time.

71.3%.

Makes me feel even better about Balad's chances of getting in.

Ah, thanks. So we're pretty much back at 2015 and 2020 levels, both years where Arab turnout was strong. Of course that's no guarantee, but inshallah.

It's usually quite slow but I don't remember it being this bad... it really shouldn't be too difficult counting the votes either, because voters don't even indicate candidates, they only choose between parties.

The new update has changed almost everything compared with the first one, so not worth posting it until a decent number of votes are counted.

Can someone more well-versed in Israeli election maps than myself try to compare the votes we're getting so far to those for the same locations last election and see if we can make anything of this? I was able to do it for Brazil and got pretty close, but Israel is just too much for me.

I had forgotten what was the best thing about Israeli elections - Google attempting to translate the Hebrew names of obscure political parties:

"Young people are on fire"

"The idea of good and evil and the covenant of Abraham's tribe is a green leaf and prohibits God"

Good times

Denmark closed one hour before Israel did and they are now finished with count save Greenland.  Israel barely has anything in.
