Passions--the only good soap.

For anybody else who watches it--yesterday's "episode" when Julian and Ivy came down to the wedding was pure hilariousness.

I hate them all.  But then again, I work for a living, so I don't see any of that trash on TV.  Tongue

I think they all, other than Passions, are quite boring and annoying--but Passions is funny too.

That's what's weird--I couldn't either (and still can't)--but I'm drawn to Passions after watching it just once.

Passions is easily the only worthwhile soapie, because it isn't really a soap.

There are two and a half current Aussie soaps-Home and Away, Neighbours and the semi-soap McLeod's Daughters, but it's weekly so i'm not sure if it counts. If it does, All Saints is pretty much in the same boat.

I can only watch General Hospital due to the fact that they have the mafia and sometimes there are these really nice gun fights.

Other than that all soaps suck.

I watch soap operas occassionally during the summer for a quick laugh, but never more than 15 minutes.  Soap operas are all trash.

The only good soap I've ever seen is Dallas.

I love Dallas- especially the early seasons prior to it becoming simply "The JR Show."

In the summer I watch a little All My Children, but spend half the time putting it down.

A fellow Passions fan!  You know--Rebecca kinda reminds me of opebo!

Has "Missing white woman" been introduced as a soap opera, or is it still formally considered "news"?

That's either a pretty good joke or Fox actually has that show now.

I'd believe either.

I normally work during the week but am off this week. My wife watches Days of Our Life and Passions so I have been watching it some. If I ever kill someone, I will hide the body in a wedding cake.

Yeah, Dallas was quite good. I haven't watched it for quite a while, but I saw pretty nearly the entire series in the late 90's when it was on reruns. I remember seeing it some while I was a kid, but never paid it much mind at that time.

JR Ewing was possibly the greatest TV villain ever, although I do agree the show was better when it wasn't all about him.

No that one about the Senator's wife--I didn't know if jfern was joking or not--we're all confused.

Well get your wife on the forum so we can talk!  Who do you think it was?
