I started thinking about this when it seems that some of the posters here shrug off a candidates simply for not having a lot of charisma. So does it really matter if a candidate for President lacks charisma? Granted, it can help, but if the candidate runs on a strong platform, would it really matter if he or she was a little boring to watch?

Some voters are too stupid to understand the issues and will vote solely on things like charisma. So charisma shouldn't matter, but it does.
