2000:
Al Gore (D) 46%

Ralph Nader (G) or

2004:
John Kerry (D) 46%
George W. Bush (R) 40%
Ralph Nader (I) 7%

Yeah, Bush and Nixon screwed up pretty bad. If you look at the other races, there is generally a huge advantage given to the person who actually won.
