It is pretty likely that Hillary will be our candidate in 2008.  I'm afraid, though, that what kills her will not be Republicans, but our own base not rallying around her.

So I'll ask, if she's the nominee, will you support her?

I'm not going to be supporting any "stay-the-course" politicians in 2008, sorry.

Probably. Depends upon what stance she takes upon Iraq and upon who the GOP nominee is.

Probably, but only because her husband will be her top advisor.

Should Hillary emerge as the Democratic nominee, then I'll more than likely support her from afar Wink. She's not my first choice, by any stretch, however

Not unless the Republicans nominate Jeb, Santorum,  or some other extremist.

I would easily choose someone like Romeny, Snowe, or even McCain or Hagel over a monarchist system split between two royal families.

So despite your liberal leanings, you'll help a conservative get elected?

Democrats who won't support Hillary being of "war cheerleading" = stupid people.

The primary climate for pro-war Democrats will be terrible next year.  If Hillary is still "pro-Iraq" then, then she loses the nomination.  Period.  It doesn't matter how much of a financial advantage she has.  Hillary knows this.

A good strategy for any Democrat running in the primaries is just to bash Bush as much as possible.  Talk about what a miserable failure he is, how he played on their fears, and all that nonsense.  No matter how pro-Iraq you are, if you at least threaten to kill Bush or something like that, the base will lap it up.

If she is the nominee, of course I will. She's not my favorite candidate in the Dem primary field, but she is still better than any candidate the republicans can put up by far.

It's not quite a monarchy nor is she royalty if she is democratically elected. I really think all the rhetoric needs to chill out in respect to Hillary. She's not my first choice either (by far), but some of things people say about her are just so unbelievably asinine.

Yes, I will support her over any Republican.

However, I do not think she will win the nomination. Most hardcore Democrats do not like her, and the fact that she was an Iraq War supporter is really going to hurt her against Obama.
