According to several sources, former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating (R) is considering jumping into the 2008 Presidential Race, citing the GOP field "lacks a Ronald Reagan Conservative".  I think he would be a very good candidate, even though he's from the opposite party.  He is one Republican I wouldn't mind voting for, simply because I know his leadership style as my Governor.  I think the Republican base would gravitate more to him than to a perceived maverick like John McCain or the RINO Rudolph Guiliani.  With the GOP field lacking a real standout, Keating stands a real shot at the nomination and could probably defeat Hillary Clinton.  Keating has much fewer skeletons in his closet than HRC.
