Agreed. She perfectly encapsulates Republican voters in Florida.

Trump could endorse Webster and Webster would still lose.

Thought Webster would win because Loomer was just too insane, but apparently there’s no such thing as “too insane” in politics these days.

When I said we needed more Jewish representation this isn't what I had in mind.

Hardcore Trump supporter Daniel Webster will lose simply for “being too moderate”.

Loomer has lost according to the other county BOEs. I know the Villages had the most votes, but ignoring the other three counties didn't end up working out that great.

Congrats on using a site with only 2 of 4 counties reporting rather that 4 of 4.

Of course not. It's embarrassing for Republicans Loomer got 44% but she still got beat by a not that close 7%.

I am fairly surprised since I expected a narrow Loomer win.

A little bit, yes. Post-Georgia primaries the worst candidate has usually been the victor.

Had Trump got involved either way, the result probably wouldn't have been as close. But I guess he figured why bother? Both results benefit him, so putting his thumb on the scale wouldn't be worth it. It's not like this was David Jolly vs. Laura Loomer.

Agreed, but Loomer, Paladino, and Sabatini all losing their respective primaries last night points to at least a partial reversal of the trend imho.

It was a pretty good night, wasn't it?

Let's hope so. Don't forget Greitens getting thrashed.

More from Loomer:

For some reason I'm reminded of this exchange in the 1973 movie version of The Three Musketeers (the best version IMO):

Milady de Winter: Your Eminence is a great player -- great enough to lose. I do not like to lose.

Cardinal Richelieu: You must suit yourself, Milady. But if in the end you should, do it with a becoming grace.

If only Democrats had any shot at all in this district...or the entire state.
