If McReynolds does not qualify as an HP, then no Supreme Court Justice does. He was the epitome of activism: one who voted consistently in favor of businesses without even considering the text of the constitution. But that was not all. He was an open anti-Semite, and had notoriously poor relations with his fellow justices. He was literally horrible.
