Klobuchar (and Harris for that matter) would have a hard time winning progressive/African American votes because of their past as DA's/Attorney Generals. While I don't forsee a third party challenge, Klobuchar winning the nomination means she would have tacked hard to the left on social justice issues, and probably gone full defund the police to compensate for her record as Hennepin County DA (Harris likely will have to do the same should she run in 2024 or 2028).

Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN)/Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) 50%
President Donald Trump (D-NY)/Vice President Mike Pence (D-IN) 48%

I think it could just be 2016 + the freiwal and NE-02, or it may just be the same map as Biden 2020 give or take GA.

Also, NYE’s post is rather racist in assuming that black voters would be turned off by a DA candidate. Black voters generally appreciate law and order as much as if not more than other voters, hence why they backed Eric Adams so strongly among other examples.

Eric Adams was running in a city much more Democratic than the country at large, his general election opponent was weak, and his primary opponents either collapsed by themselves (Yang) or destroyed themselves via scandal (Stringer). It's not really surprising he won, taking all of that together.
