Basically how I described Tom Kean, Jr. and Bill Jefferson:

a braindead fu'cking idiotic piece of human gabage who I'd laugh if he got hit by a bus

Good thing we won't be seeing any more of him past 2008.

Does that mean you think he will win since the clerk is calling his name?  Tongue

He'll probably retire and his seat will go to Udall.

Seems like an OK guy, but I'll be glad when Udall takes his seat.

I don't like him that much- for one thing, he introduced the Federal Marraige Amendment. He just seems too conservative for his state.

But we're skipping over the outgoing Senators.

Well, Marilyn Musgrave is from Colorado, too.

From an extremely conservative district that she only narrowly wins in (It shouldn't even be close)

True, but she only represents one of the most conservative parts of the state.

Allard is a do-nothing Senator.

I don't want Udall to win. I hope Owens decides to run.

The irony is that both the introducers of the FMA (Allard and Musgrave) are from CO-4.

That's not ironic at all. Noteworthy, butnot ironic.

Now if they were both from a fairly liberal district, it would be.

The most underrated Senator.  God bless Strickland for giving him two terms.
