Option 1 for me.

Other if you think they were equally bad, equally good or any other reason that you didn't want to vote for either of them.

Trump, narrowly.

This wouldn't even be close if it weren't for Trump's behavior during the post-election dispute.

Anybody completely objective would say Bill Clinton.

Anybody completely objective would say Bill Clinton.

Hindsight suggests differently:

1. NAFTA
2. Signed banking "reforms" that did more than anything else to set up the 2008 housing crisis.
3. Forced Ukraine to give all of its nuclear weapons back to Russia as a condition of independence.
4. Having to play defense on the Monica Lewinsky scandal discredited feminist opposition to Trump.
5. Wasted too much time unproductively tilting at social issue windmills that needlessly increased polarization and were ultimately overturned by the other side (Brady Bill, vetoing the partial birth abortion ban, etc.).

Even with that he was still better than Trump, Dubya, and in terms of party leadership and foreign policy, Obama.

And how does that stack up to, among other things, trying to overturn a free and fair election to make oneself dictator of the United States, thereby destroying the country as we know it?

Clinton (sane)

Trump was the worst POTUS of the modern age. Or the worst since 1869.

I'm of the belief he was the worst since 1869.

One tarnished the White House with scandal, cozied-up with a corrupt and authoritarian Russia, shirked America's international commitments, and sold our nation out to the oligarchs. The other is Donald Trump.

At least most of Clinton's "victims" of sexual assault consented to the President sleeping with them, even if that consent was obtained unethically and through dubious means.

I don't recall Trump ever bothering to get consent to sleep with anyone.
