I was looking at the Wikipedia page for Trousdale County, TN. It's in the exurbs of Nashville, and unlike the inner-suburbs of Nashville in Rutherford and Williamson Counties, it's been trending rightwards (went from McCain+7 to Trump+48). It seems fairly exurban or perhaps even rural, and Wikipedia itself says that
Trousdale County is part of the Nashville-Davidson–Murfreesboro–Franklin, TN Metropolitan Statistical Area, although it is located just beyond the ring of "bedroom communities" in the Nashville metropolitan area. Farming and livestock-raising characterize this largely rural area.
Despite this, per Wikipedia, the population exploded between 2010 and 2020, going from less than 8,000 people to close to 12,000, an increase of a whopping 47.6%. Is this an error? Or is it correct? If it is correct, how has Trousdale exploded so much? (I get that it is a 'bedroom community' of Nashville to an extent and people with jobs in Nashville might move here, but still -
47.6%?! And besides, it seems too far from Nashville for it to be a 'bedrrom community' of that city, as Wikipedia also stated.)
