No it is not as number 2 is literally what fascist and communist government did to ensure they could indoctrinate their kids and remove all sense of individuality . Number 3 could if their wasn’t section 230 protections given to those platforms and also cheerleadered by politicians

You don't have a right to teach your kids that black people or muslims or trans people are immoral / deviants and then send them to public school and then ALSO demand that the public school not contradict your beliefs in the classroom. Especially where, in the case of trans people, they might say in the classroom something much less controversial, such as "trans people exist and are a part of society" instead of "trans people aren't immoral"

That isn't your right as a parent in 2022 in Western culture. Very interesting that you went out of your way to mention "indoctrinating their kids and removing all sense of individuality". That's what some of these parents want to do. Removing the individuality of trans kids is what these parents want to do, either to their own kids or the kids in the classroom with their kids. Educating kids on the basic facts ("trans people exist in society") isn't indoctrination.

It isn't about left wing or center or right wing, it's about right and wrong, in terms of both reality / truth / facts and morality.

What is the worst feature of our current universities is their progressive rejection of the idea of Western Civilization.  The whining about "racism", "sexism" "colonialism", etc. that they attribute to Western Civilization completely overlooks the fact that Western Civilization provides the ideas and principles which have brought us Civil Peace and the Rule of Law.  Western Civilization isn't perfect, and it's fine to study its imperfections and improve on them, but it's foolhardy to view other civilizations as some kind of Paradise Lost.

Deconstructing western civilization, analyzing it and then criticizing it isn't the same thing as saying "other civilizations are/were perfect". It's absolutely a good thing that we examine ourselves, figure out where we might have gone wrong, and think about where we might correct that moving forward. Look at it another way... if you are having personal or family problems, does taking a hard look at yourself / your family, figuring out what the problems might be / might have been, and then thinking about how things might be better moving forward mean "other families are perfect"? Of course not. It sounds like you simply don't like western civilization being analyzed and all the imperfections being exposed. If that's the case, just say that. Many will disagree with you, but it's your right to hold that view.

The "stuff like this hasn't been taught before" part is most revealing- stuff like this is still not taught. You saying this is by itself proof pf the current culture war fueled indoctrination. Gay teachers didn't start sexually explicit descriptions of their love lifes in class since Ron DeSantis decided to declare war before them or since 2020 or since 2016. This just doesn't happen. It's a problem invented by GOP to incite hatred against gay people, as simple as that, and very evidenced by the groomer lie that quickly followed.

What happens and always happened in areas where people aren't homophobic is that gay or lesbian or trans teachers  simply talk about their same sex partners in the same way straight teachers do, which is only when relevant and rarely- and that good teachers of all stripes teach kids not to hate or bully other kids regardless of who they like or how they look. That's what the GOP wants to ban, because they want gay kids to be bullied until they stay in the closet or kill themselves.

This is true, but people have been told many times and it doesn't change their beliefs. Some people aren't interested in the truth.
