I figured it's time for a status update after the original:

Camp 1: We must return to March 2020- if not even more strict measures- to rid the world of covid once and for all.  #ZeroCovid was right, and we abandoned it too soon.

Camp 2: The unvaccinated should be forced back into lockdown with siginficant restrictions on life for the vaccinated (perhaps resembling blue state restrictions during the winter of 2020-21).

Camp 3: Life should continue semi-normally and everything should be open, but I support mask and/or vaccine mandates.

Camp 4: Vaccinated people should be living without restrictions, while encouraging, but not requiring unvaccinated people to get vaccinated.  People with covid should still get tested and quarantine.

Camp 5: Covid needs to be treated no differently then the flu.  Make vaccines and treatments available to anyone who wants them, but that's it.  End mass testing of asymptomatic or pauci-symptomatic people and allow people who feel up to it to go about normal lives- whether they would test positive or negative.

Firmly in camp 5 now. Though continuing to encourage vaccinations for the elderly and immunocompromised is fine I guess.

Mostly back to normal but letting people who are positive for COVID "go about their day" is idiotic, lmao. Also, this stupid "vaccinations for those who want them" needs to stop. Mandates are essential.

I'm between 3 and 4, closer to 4. I'm uncomfortable with mandates at this stage, but can understand why some would choose to continuing wearing masks.

Camp 5. I'm to the point of refusing to vote for any candidate who isn't the same, so long as their opponent isn't clearly worse.

Why would anyone with a functioning brain think this is a valid course of action?

Four, although honestly I'd probably go with five for vaccinated people and three for unvaccinated people.

Because the virus isn't that deadly anymore, and it's almost never deadly to people who have received the vaccine, which is freely available to all adults.

Also, I have very little patience for the people who support freedom for the vaccinated and police state for the unvaccinated. Even if we just look at it selfishly from the perspective of the vaccinated, it isn't freedom if you have to keep showing your papers and testing negative.

I guess, like, 4.5? Encouraging vaccination without mandating it is something we should absolutely still be doing, but I'm against mass testing.

I voted Camp 3 with hints of 4 & 5.

- Open everything up with no restrictions
- Vaccines, boosters & tests available to anyone that wants them
- Strongly encourage folks with COVID to stay home for a day & mask up when they go out
- COVID vaccines should be required for school enrollment
- Complete ambivalence on mask/vaccine mandates in public

I've pretty much gone into "Normalcy" mode for most of the year. I only wear a mask anymore when in an indoor building with like 20+ people (Sports/concert venue, supermarket, etc). But if folks wanna keep wearing masks, that's up to them and I'm not casting judgment.

I will say, it's very amusing to see people get all pissy about mandates when the vast majority of folks are gonna follow it at their own discretion. Folks take it like a draconian action taken by a group of despots when a mask/vaccine mandate in 2022 has as much bite as a government PSA.

Camp 5, and at this point if I operated a public-facing business I'd seriously consider banning masks from the premises.

It sounds like you are in Camp 3, given that you still support vaccine mandates. What about mask mandates?
