While a life long atheist rather than a person of faith, this article really resonated with me. I have always cringed at religion bashing, often by those who might benefit from it the most, as cruel, divisive and arrogant, and now more and more we are self ghettoizing ourselves into tribal zip codes that demonize the other. You lose a lot of what is valuable in life by doing that. I almost always very much enjoy my experiences in a landscape where I am the functional equivalent of a space alien.
Dismiss the above as the addled ramblings of an old fossil, but it is what I truly
believe. That is my faith.
The article is long, but I enjoyed reading every word. Perhaps you might too.
