Problem is there wasn't a way for Trump not to turn on Pence. Pence had no ability to deliver what Trump was asking for. Even if he disgraced himself and illegally tried to overturn the election, Trump would have seen him as weak and blamed him somehow for failing. Pence would never have done what Trump was asking and Trump would never realised that he had already lost.

I think so. Before Jan 6, I had actually predicted that Trump would run a "Presidency-in-exile" with a replica of the Oval Office for announcements and him continuing to assert he's the "real president". I predicted he would run in 2024 with Pence as a "continuation" of his first term.

I would think so. Pence was almost completely invisible to the public, a very gifted arselicker and he kept a bunch of big donors and evangelicals happy. I don't see how Trump would benefit from dumping him.

I think Trump 2024 will be even more anti-system than Trump 2016 and Trump 2020 so Pence is not a good fit for an anti-system insurgent message.

No, I think he'd still pick a woman or a minority as a means of trying to win votes.
