It would be pretty easy to guess that Clinton would be the Democrat and that the Midwest would be flipping based on that criteria. Some people might correctly guess Tim Kaine as the running mate since he was on Obama's shortlist IIRC, but I would have guessed Julián Castro. The Republican is the tricky part. Obviously Trump was politically active around that time, although I doubt many people would have thought he would be this mystery non-politician candidate. I would have assumed that was there to trip people up and that the nominee wouldn't be a politician because they were retired, or maybe, maybe it was Ben Carson or Carly Fiorina? Absolutely no one would guess Pence as the running mate, "Christian Right stalwart" could refer to any of the more noteworthy people in the GOP.
