Mexico has a problem with the way they treat females:

https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-03-24/mexico-femicide-units-violent-crime-women-foreign-correspondent/100920716

Mexico currently loses 10 women (and girls) a day to violent rape and murder.

1. South Africa
2. Brazil
3. Russia
4. Mexico
5. Iran
6. Domenican Republic

8. Morocco

10. Thailand

Forbes have lost their brain. Everyone knows Australia is the safest place for women.

1. Australia
2. Malta
3. Iceland
4. New Zealand

That looks more like it.

Bosnia third in that list is certainly a bit of a curveball.

Third in the entire world is obviously some exaggeration, but it’s not like Bosnia today is super dangerous lmao. In terms of crime rates it’s actually on par with even Western European countries. Yeah it’s poor, but not really dangerous as long as you don’t go on unmarked trails.

OK, but the list was also specifically about safety *for women*. It might surprise certain people to see a mostly Muslim country so high, for sure.

You don’t understand Balkan Islam. It’s, a lot more moderate and liberal than Arab Islam by far, especially on women’s issues. A majority of the women don’t wear hijabs and there isn’t segregation of stuff by gender. Unfortunately the Saudis have recently been investing heavily in Sarajevo and are trying to spread a degree of Wahhabism along with their building projects. Bosnian and Balkan Islam is pretty moderate now…but it may not be in the future.
If Western European nations don’t want this type of stuff on their continent…it’s not too late to start investing like heck into these countries. Money matters, especially in an area that is so economically down right now. It’ll come with the added benefit of reducing ethnic hate which is more or less exacerbated by lack of opportunities and economic downturn.

Oh I do understand all that, hence the "might surprise certain people" Smiley

Egypt being in that top ten is maybe even more striking, come to think of it.

Is this safety for women in absolute terms, or relative to safety for men? For example, if Country X has 100 murders of which 30 are of women and Country Y with a similar population has 50 murders of which 20 are of women in the same period of time, Country X would be safer for women relatively but Country Y would be safer for women absolutely.

Egypt is in both top 10's.

But with their "circle of hell" sex crime rate, they should never be on a good list.
.
https://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/jul/05/egypt-women-rape-sexual-assault-tahrir-square

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mass_sexual_assault_in_Egypt

Egyptian men believe that without a Hijab, a woman is looking for sex and is happy to be accosted.

Papua New Guinea is one country you do not want to go to if you are a woman.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sexual_violence_in_Papua_New_Guinea

"According to this study, about 14.1% of men have committed multiple perpetrator rape."

"Raskol gangs often require raping women for initiation reasons.[12] Peter Moses, one of the leaders of the "Dirty Dons 585" Raskol gang, stated that raping women was a “must” for the young members of the gang.[12] In rural areas, when a boy wants to become a man, he may go to an enemy village and kill a pig to be accepted as an adult, while in the cities "women have replaced pigs". Moses, who claimed to have raped more than 30 women himself, said, “And it is better if a boy kills her afterwards, there will be less problems with the police”.

So much for the "Me Too" movement in PNG.

100% of geologists working in PNG from Australia will be male. You cannot even take your wife or girlfriend there to live. It's easily the worst place in the world for women.

And even as a male geologist, you need to travel everywhere with a shotgun.

PNG and Egypt are simply "Hell on Earth" for women.

They both have endemic issues with men's attitude causing these problems.

The Japan stat is b.s. The way Japanese authorities treat rape and sexual assault cases is to deter victims from reporting and when they insist on doing so the authorities under investigate and under prosecute. Japanese feminists have been complaining and advocating about this abuse for decades.

China is also complete BS. When a woman was discovered literally in chains, after being used as a birthing machine for decades, the authorities covered it up and arrested journalists who tried to investigate further.

Zookeeper José Rubén Nava accused of cooking, serving and eating four pygmy goats at a Christmas banquet at his zoo.

"These four animals [were] slaughtered and cooked on the zoo's premises and were served as food at the year-end party," Mr Ruiz Gutierrez said.

Before you rush to judgement, Mexican pygmy goat tacos are delicious.

We all knew in the back of our minds, this day would come. The question was, would it come in our lifetime?

An alien corpse has been unveiled in Mexico.

(A Current Affair 2023)

"Mexican journalist, Jaime Maussan, has presented two alleged "alien bodies" to a special session of the Mexican congress."

"The two small corpses were retrieved from Peru, with researchers claiming the 1,000 y.o. "non-human beings" were not part of terrestrial evolution."

Mexican Congress Presentation follows:
