LGC 6.6 - Seal the Deal Act

A BILL FOR AN ACT
changing the great seal of our region

BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL COURT RESOLVED.

Section 1, TITLE AND DEFINITIONS.
1. The title of this Act shall be, the "Seal the Deal Act."

Section 2, SEAL CONTENTS.
1. The Great Seal of the Region of Lincoln shall feature Abraham Lincoln centered in a green circle, with the Liberty Bell to his left and a sailboat to his right; surrounded by a deep blue ring featuring, in yellow text, the word “LINCOLN” on top and “MMXVI” on the bottom.
2. The Liberty Bell symbolizes the goal of maximizing personal liberty within the region.
3. The sailboat represents the boating and fishing culture of Lincoln, as well as its commitment to preserving its lakes, rivers, streams, and waters.

Personally, I'm a big fan of this new seal, our current seal still says "Region of the North," so it's a bit overdue to change it.

The current seal is much better than the one with the bell on it, but I felt like making this because I thought it looked nice. There is a lot of symbolism, and I put way too much time making sure the text went in the circle properly.

THIS is the current seal, I signed it into law myself. I designed it myself. And I think Koopa's design is better, but let's be clear about what the current seal is.
