Come to think of it, he's not only a Putin apologist, but also a hypocrite considering his vocal opposition to the invasion of Iraq back then (a stance I had agreed with).

A Third-Way stooge, but somehow one more malevolent than Bill Clinton or Tony Blair, the former who seems to have some remorse for his actions...and the latter who actually did have semblance of a positive legacy...before Iraq.
